Matthew 15:21-28 The Faith of a Canaanite Woman
Sometimes we need to be reminded that Jesus did not come for the Gentiles, that mission was an extension of His mission to Israel after the Resurrection. Yet, there were Gentiles who recognized Him for who He was.
Note how the woman addressed Jesus: “Lord, Son of David…” she recognized His kingship, His authority over the demons. She also did not need a full measure of grace, just a crumb – a mustard seed.
