Jesus needed time to mourn.
This reminded me of a story found in chapter four of the book, I am a Church Member by Thom Rainer. It’s a good book and I recommend it for anyone who is part of the church, although parts might be tough to swallow, he doesn’t sugar coat things.
Consider the times that you might have pushed people to do things when they really needed time to mourn, to process something that happened or just to be alone.
Sometimes we forget that Jesus had needs, too.
